A song about being an elementary-school kid in the early '80s. The Duran Duran album in question is entitled Seven and the Ragged Tiger - I'm always surprised when people ask me what the name of this song has to do with anything. Most folks just call it "Duran Duran."
I'd play "Seven and the Ragged Tiger" at early Collider shows whenever Sean broke a string. The audience ate it up at first; they rapidly tired of it, and Sean started using higher-gauge strings, so the song disappeared from the set. I was actually relieved - sometimes I think this song may be a little too cute for its own good.
